Do I need a liftgate for large restaurant equipment purchases?
In a majority of the cases we recommend a lift gate service for products that can't be carried by one or two people. Freight carriers ship products strategically on different trucks based on the information received, if you don't request a liftgate, the truck that is dispatched with the product may not have a lift gate and will expect you to unload the products from it's truck. This could lead to significant delays and additional costs if you need the service and don't request it.
In the case you have a loading dock, a forklift, or a team to handle your shipments, then this service is not for you.
